What a shame that Little Alex’s is being pushed out. My family has been coming to Little Alex’s for 28 years and when the kids come back into town we always make a stop. We have being treated like family! What an insult to the Montecito community to push this great business out. Outside of Vons and the Post Office I will cease to do business with these out of touch LA knuckle heads who will not work with the local community!

To not provide Little Alex's with a decent Lease after all this time, and to tell them they are not the "right fit" for the "County Mart", is the "New Montecito". Little Alex's has been my favorite place to go for lunch for the last 28 years.
Now there will only be one essential services business (Vons) in the Country Mart, actually two (Post Office) that I will be supporting. Yes there used to be a laundromat at one time! All of these boutique shops have owners and employees that will make parking even more scarce.
Leasing the space out to another Mexican restaurant adds insult to injury to the owner's of Little Alex's.

This restaurant should have the option to maintain their lease in their longstanding location in Montecito. They have faithfully served the community for the last 25+ years.

Keep LA 100 miles away! Insane that a business that’s still successful after 33 years, has survived the hard ships for the last two years is being told to leave. Owners of the country mart are so disconnected from those area and it shows.

I have been eating at Little Alex’s ever since I moved here in elementary school. That was 14 years ago and I still love it and what it represents. It is so sad to see it pushed out like this!

Please reconsider renewing Little Alex's lease. It is the only reason I come to Montecito to shop from SB. I often stop and get groceries, pharmacy, juice, while I am there.

Little Alex's is one of our favorite places to eat. It actually brings us from Santa Barbara to Montecito.

Little Alex’s is the very best and Lynette and her staff are fantastic, helpful and caring.
The Montecito Country Mart will never be the same and my visits to the Mart will drop off substantially as will my shopping at the other stores!

Little Alex’s is one of our favorite family’s favorite places to drop in for lunch or pick up to take down to the beach. So convenient and quick. Excellent, polite service. Definitely a “must have”in Montecito.

So sad…they made it through the fire, debris flow and covid - only to be closed down by an out of town developer not understanding the sense of community places like Alex create and support, as well as draw business to the Mart more broadly.
