Little Alex’s is an institution in Montecito. We took our kids there, still do, and our grandkids. We are heartbroken that they are being forced to close. This is short sighted and reflects a lack of understanding of the community.

Stupid decision by management, both culturally and financially. If this goes through, I hope the owners of this mall lose a lot of money. I certainly won't be going there anymore.

This restaurant has the kindest and most genuine owners and staff and some of my best memories from growing up were there. Please let them stay so more people can experience the joy of this place.

You cannot kick someone out just because they are not expensive enough. Communities are made up of all ranges of businesses.

This is the greatest community building eatery Montecito has. We love coming as tourists and residents. Please find a way to keep this open.

We don't need another James Perse type store, we need to keep our sense of community intact. Little Alex's creates that and brings a LOT of foot traffic to the Mart, you're making a big mistake by not renewing them. I will probably just keep driving if they are gone and head to the Montecito Village mart to get my groceries too. We need to support the long-time small businesses, not replace them with chain stores!!
