Marching band has helped make me into the person I am today. Without it, I would not be where I am now, and not have had nearly as many opportunities.

The bonds formed at off-site band camp can not be replicated on school grounds, being together 24/7 for a few days really is an amazing teambuilding experience!!

I have so many positive memories of Band Camp. I think all kids should experience this amazing teambuilding, bonding time.

The Marching Knights and there long standing traditions have impacted my son and the entire family. When you expect these kids to grow up and prosper you have to implement those skills. Band Camp is an important part of this. Please allow the Marching Knights to thrive without bureaucratic interruption.

I agree that Band camp is more than learning the new field show but also a great place create friendships. A great place to learn teambuilding without them even realizing it.

What is with all these cuts? First ROTC program, now Band camp, Really? Where there's a will, there's a way. If the school really wants these programs to exist, they will find a way.

Band camp is one of the reasons for so many years Lincoln-Way has had award winning and championship caliber bands. In most cases Lincoln-Way bands are better than college and university bands. Canceling band camp is a poor decision.

Band camp was esstenial to making the Knights as good as they were and how good as they are now. It helps to unite the band members so they can bond and strengthens their conviction to become a whole marching band. The experience that our family has shared

Not only was camp fun, we learned sooo much!! Long days, companionship with like minded peers, and z head start on award winning field shows!!! Why cancel something that provides joy, friendship and great amounts of uninterrupted learning???
