I am appalled by how this man is being treated. There is no room for the humble man or the a hardworking man in this society anymore. USC should represent more than just a school that is interested in money, because that's how I see it and that's how many people view the school.

Lil Bill is honestly such a great person, and genuinely cares about the welfare of the students. Everytime I have walked to class over the last 4 years, I have seen Lil Bill doing an honest days works, making sure all the bicycles he repairs is done with integrity. USC has always been run as a corporation, not a university, as the profit-driven incentives far outweigh the best interest of students. A lack of transparency? That is not something new for USC. Removing a significant figure, such as Lil Bill, goes to show USC doesn't care about families and hard workers trying to earn an honest living for their families. They are thinking of themselves, how do WE maximize profits once the university village is finished? Of course, it is undeniable that USC has its great moments and perks, but its sad to see this man go. I am fully in support of Lil Bill staying around USC, even if that means he moves across the street (off-campus) to the corner of Hoover and Jefferson. You're already charging us the most tuition anyone has ever seen / heard of, so at least don't make us pay an extra thousand trying to get a bike tire replaced.

I am going to boycott the new bike shop in the village. You can't gain our services by shutting down your competition. What kind of results can we expect from someone who does that?

USC has enough revenue coming in! Let this man have his bike shop!

I have always found USC's commitment to the community to be conditional. Given the quantity of bikes on campus, there's plenty of business for Bill and the new bike shop to share. Let him stay.

It is unfair to run out the little businesses. This bike shop is this man's livelihood. There's room for more than one bile shop!

While I appreciate that the university is only considering student needs in choosing which businesses to include in the Village, I insist that those considerations be made with university history and tradition, as well as the wellbeing of our community members (especially people like Lil Bill) in mind.
