Lil Bill's Repair Shop has been there for me in times of need since I was a freshman at USC. After 40 years of service, is he not one of our own? So here's to Trojans helping Trojans.

USC has done lots to involve the surrounding community of USC. LIl Bill's was invited by you to be on campus, which showed how you reached out to the community you support. This shop has touched many people and provided a valuable community on and off campus. Supporting established and honest hard working small business, who was an entrepreneur for 40 years and who gave away for free some services for students, would be something you should support. New buildings and then shutting this guy down who you invited to campus. Shame.

USC should be supportive of small businesses because they model the success University students should strive for. Independence, courage and kindness seem to be tenets of the USC community. Evicting Lil Bill indicates that these are not worthwhile in the face of monetary gain. Is that really a message that the "Trojan family" wants to promote?

If we don't take care of the smaller "mom and pop" businesses we all will suffer. Please re-think this and let him stay.

I would like to believe that promoting independent thought and entrepreneuralship would be a cornerstone of higher education. However USC promoting corporate greed and bully tactics to promote thier agenda and corporate plan. This situation is wducational I guess and I hope the students persist and save his business. He's been there over 40 years! Perhaps retiring soon or aging out. Leave him be, your USC bike shop can wait or better yet, compete!

Just like there are other shops in the village being built doesn't mean that their competitors are being asked to leave too. Let Bill stay!
