Don't be heartless, if anything that brand new bike should be named Big Bill's. Why not upgrade this family that has served the community for 40 years, the least they deserve.

Its important to support small buisnesses on college campuses. In my experience, big buisnesses come and ripp off the students. College campuses are starting to lack that community feeling.

Why wouldn't you have offered him the opportunity to be the bike shop in the village? Why go find someone else when you had a reliable company already?

No new village bike shop will ever give the experience, value, and warmth of a family-run business. Go somewhere else new bike shop. No one wants you.

You owe it to your community to find a way to help this man. Those are the consequences of signing that agreement with the new bike shop.
