I grew up on Lido and have always loved the low key vibe, I think the plan should be scaled back and more resident input before the proposed changes are made.

I own three weeks of a time share on Lido Beach, rent properties there for periodic stays and maintain a home in Annapolis. MD. This is WRONG. It was bad enough that the owner of the Daiquiri Deck was given consideration for the concession stand on Lido. Granted, the facility is being mismanaged. Take care of that first --- don't go into that shabby abandonment mode.

I dont want this plan going forward. Lido Beach is my favorite place to go but I wouldn't be able to afford the new nonsense...leave Lido alone!!!!!!!!

The general public has very little beach access as is, this basically prohibits many of the general working class from hitting the beach. Once again the commissioners are throwing the general public under the bus

I've been going to this beach for 8 years and love that is easy to find parking and private businesses at the pavilion. Keep Lido small and cozy!

I come 4 months every year to Lido Beach from Sarasota Lakes Resort where I am an owner. Sometimes I have even walked or ride my bike from airport area. The beach is very important to me. I enjoy walking from Lido Beach to South lido Beach for my exercise. Please keep this a public beach. The traffic on Cortez will double if this closes. If you are closing the beaches, you can say goodbye to your tourist industry.
