It won't be for the people. It's like they're buying the beach. I live in the City and go to Lido Beach everyday. Stop this!

Residents on the street opposite the pavilion for 35 years. We have seen growth pains in just the last few years that didn't exist previously. Cars parked on our lawns, blocking driveways, stripping our fruit trees, excessive speeding. Gunshots in beach parking lot 2 months ago.
If this plan prevails, it will greatly add additional stress to our small (10 blocks) neighborhood, and greatly reduce the beach access for visitors and locals. Let's widen the beach first, then discuss who owns it.

Unfortunately, this will change the whole ambiance of Lido Key that we enjoy right now, so sad if this is allowed to pass.

Please do not make beautiful Lido Beach an expensive private money making business while taking all the parking spaces. It is lovely just the way it is . We do not need a tiki bar or huge restaurants or pool cabanas....! Let people just enjoy the Gulf and the sandy beach in peace !!

Stop giving away Our beaches
Have you been to one of them lately?People are throwing all kinds of garbage on them. We don't need any more people like that out there!
Aside from the paid employees you have volunteers that are out there everyday picking up garbage and we still cannot keep up. Stop it.
People in a position of authority should be trying to protect and preserve the environment that includes our beaches and our waterways.
Earn your position in power, or give it up to someone who cares.

They are already charging 36.00 a day got 2 water bottles, towels, and making the beds. That doesn't include parking fees anywhere. Not just the parking ramp. I will never go back. I also tell every Sarasota resident not to go.

More traffic, late night drinking of hard alcohol, not enough places to park. This is a disaster and for whose benefit.

Do not change Lido Beach. My favorite beach for past 52 years as a visitor and for almost 12 years as a property owner in Sarasota. Do not destroy the laid back casual beach life I love. I vacation in Sarasota becus I cant afford $100 cabana fees nor would I wany to go to a cabana style beach.

This is wrong the beach should be open to everyone, unlike the east coast we never set aside enough beach for public use don't take any more away from us.
Let's not turn Sarasota into Jacksonville, Fl.

Keep public amenities public.
