We need a plan that is in the best interest of the public. That means being able to park at the beach, have public bathrooms and a relaxed snack bar. Lido beach is charming. This plan sounds like it will be overbuilt.

A major perk to living in Fl is being able to enjoy the beautiful beaches. Not a good move economically- may affect tourism

Nature and access to all her beauty is our birthright. In an evolved mindset of oneness the collective whole would be free and open to all would it not?

Please stop changing Sarasota's beaches! The reason Sarasota first became popular was due to its small town charm. Part of that charm lies in the way the beaches originally were designed. We do not want our beaches to be commercialized. Stop over developing our beaches. We need to preserve this paradise.

My family and I have always enjoyed the Lido Beach Pavilion. The pool, beach, and the Lido Beach Resteraunt have been and continue to be the favorite place for our family and others who visit Lido Beach Resteraunt, pool and beach. The major resteraunt chains can stay in the where they are at. We are supportive of small business's that can offer great food at great prices with a great and friendly staff that serve us. There is no place else that offers what the Lido Pavion has to offer.... please save our Lido Pavilion and discourage major food chains from ruining a great thing... If I want bigger resteraunts, I will go to downtown Sarasota.... they do not have any business building here.....

Came hear twice on a two day vacation. The staff is personable and this place gives you the laid back Beach vibes any tourist or local is looking for. I would come here and eat but never rent a $100 Cabana or want a fancy restaurant on the water when there is already tons of them.

Came here twice on a two day vacation. I can guarantee without a doubt that I would never pay for a Cabana for a day in its place, but I would pay for good food and good service every time I'm here.

We cannot allow local councils and governments to usurp the wishes and interests of the constituency. We must stand up en masse and protest this underhanded abuse of the People. This has been a long standing icon not only for locals but for passersby the world over.
Shame on local government and the elected officials sworn to protect the interests of the People. Is anyone organizing a protest? Additionally, we must identify and follow up with council members who are selling out the People.

Parking & serving the locals adequately from a traffic standpoint arei more important than overdevelopment. We have too many developers dreaming up ways to make “ a killing” on the backs of residents as it is. We do not need another.

We’ve vacationed in the area for 15+ years. The growth is nice to see but has now taken away the keys beauty! There’s too much traffic and beaches are now over crowded. Greed isn’t necessary. Let Lido Pavilion continue to serve those of us that have been loyal for many years. Thank you.

land is not a commodity! we are part of a commons. half of the length of lido key is already 'privatised'. Where is democracy now?
