Leave the Pavilion alone! I have been visiting that Beach since 1974. It's a beautiful place that should not be sold out to Developers. If you want crowds, Mayhem and Noise just head down the street to Siesta Key. You can have it all there!

No one wants a new mall on the beach. People who go to Lido want to enjoy nature, swimming, and the beach. There are more than enough restaurants, bars, and shops in the circle and downtown. We don’t need a high impact restaurant on the beach. It will ruin the relaxed atmosphere.

This is a public beach, people go there to be on the beach. Don't fill it with cars of people in a restaurant. The beach is the playground. If they want a beachfront venue let them but property. Private bar owners using city to make their profits.
