This another appropriation that does not support the public. Note, please, that the companies proposing the project said that they have not studied the effect on traffic. No doubt, because it would argue strongly against their petition, which should be strongly rejected.

This is disgraceful. Families have the right to access beaches.

I'm the President of the Board at Lido Surf and Sand, a 108 unit condo with direct access to Lido beach and about 400 yards south of the Pavilion. I have not met one of our residents, who are frequent users of the Pavilion services, who support this over development that threatens to spoil the beach area for generations to come. Please stop this privatization and put it back into public hands.

another tremendously bad idea by our city fathers. Please have common sense. There is enough drinking at the Circle 200 yards away. Keep this for family fun as always intended.

Save this landmark pavilion that makes Lido Beach unique, live on Lido for over 20 years seen a lot of changes some good some not. Possible updates could be made, to make Lido Beach shine.

The proposed changes seem to lose the public beach feeling.

Proposed changes to the pavilion would negatively change the Lido Beach culture! I do not support privatizing this public entity. It's not only bad for our community but a bad business deal for the city of Sarasota!

As a resident of Lido Beach, I love the activities currently held at the pavilion, and think privatizing will be a mistake that will take away from the character of our beach. Lido beach residents vote; city officials need to respect the sentiment of those of us who live on this beautiful island.

Oh no, not Lido Beach too! Stop taking away all that makes Sarasota special. This beach is part of our identity, a low key, Fun filled place for all.
