My husband and I go to Lido every Sunday morning to relax from our work week and quietly unwind. The proposed changes will drastically change the restful, relaxing, “local” flavor of Lido. We are strongly opposed to the proposed development of the beach area.

We are moving to sarasota soon and the public beach access on Lido Is a main draw. If you closed this we would re-think our moving destination.

I love Lido and concession stands just as they are...it's a special place. Do not allow developers and the wealthy to strike again. They've taken over too much of Sarasota's beauty already.

we have been enjoying Lido Beach and the Pavilion for going on 13 years. Please don't change this family friendly beach amenity. There are enough late night Tiki bars and beach restaurants for people to enjoy, keep this family atmosphere alive in Sarasota.

As a disabled person this is my favorite place to visit!!! My family and I love the beach the little concession stand has great food, great service!!!!!! Lobster Rolls to die for. Please don't allow big money from a company that has probably never even visited there to destroy a GREAT family institution.

Enough is enough! We don't need another franchised, alcohol-focused venue that lessens the quality of life on Lido Key. The families who live here have a greater stake in our community than bar business owners and their patrons who drop in for a few hours of entertainment. All residents and responsible Sarasotans should challenge the proposed Pavilion development plans and advocate to retain the unique character of Lido Key.
