Lido beach and pavilion should stay public. It is the beach most locals go to stay away from the overcrowded and poorly re-developed siesta key pavilion. It should not be turned into a private pavilion in order to make the rich pockets richer.

Currently, visitors have a choice between the party atmosphere of Siesta or the more laid-back family atmosphere of Lido. Please don't destroy the choices, add to the HORRIBLE traffic issues on Lido and ruin the quiet community feeling of Lido Beach. Lido is a residential island with a small number of businesses operating along the beach. We do not need to add to the commotion along the beach. Keep it on St. Armands.

Lido Beach should belong to the community, Sarasota residents must be able to access and enjoy our public beaches.

I am appalled at the thought of the City even entering into a lease agreement - there are other solutions for their $$$ problem !

Can we the natives have one last place? I was born here in 61 havnt been to the. Beach in almost 3 years because if you don't get there at 6am there is no parking! This will make it a million times worse! Just look at downtown! Concrete nightmare! And ugly too! They are trying to push us out! This Ciry is now run on greed!
