This is just unbelievable. How could you even think of selling off MORE beach property. Sad it’s become all about the all mighty dollar. Please do not approve this idea.

Our family visits annually and love Lido. Best lobster rolls in town. It will be a shame if the locals, tourists and marine life gets disrupted but commercialization.

Been traveling here from WV for years. We love the laid back non commercialized area. If it changes, we won’t be back.

This is just despicable ! This is such a quaint little beach .. this would be an absolute disaster! There are plenty of tiki bars and private club atmosphere places already available.. why change this ?? So many families come to Lido to relax and escape the “nightlife “ atmosphere.

We do not need a bar / restaurant or exclusive wealthy patron areas in our beautiful Lido pavilion area. It would be a travesty to let developers take control of this wonderful public space. It’s perfect as it is.

Lido Beach is a critical - and very fragile - nesting site for many shorebirds each year. Their task is challenging enough already. Let's not make it worse!

It’s Petitions such as this that help preserve historical areas of Sarasota. If we continue to allow changes like the Daquiri deck Lido to happen we will be forfeiting our little piece of historical heaven. Let’s stand together in this. Let’s keep history going.

I’m a local and I have been coming to Lido Beach by the pavilion for 19 years because it is a small quiet beach. If I want to go to a bar for food and drinks I go inland. An establishment like Daiquiri Deck does not belong on our small peaceful beach. The trash, noise, and traffic will ruin our small piece of paradise and our wildlife’s home.

My wife and I are both 65 and grew up in Sarasota.We have witnessed over the years as our beautiful beaches have become smaller and smaller due to developement. Please don't let another public area like Lido beach fall to a private entity.
