Public parks and recreation areas should be public and available to all, not just the individuals with money. This beach is more important to tourism and local enjoyment than many of the items in the budget. Keep this public and make the necessary improvements and maintenance.

$80,000. Does the proposed “rent” even cover the costs of LIFEGUARD salaries, JANITOR (restrooms) salaries, and more publicly paid servies at the Lido Beach Pavilion? A new kiddie pool requires even more lifeguards. What is the total cost of publicly paid services that will exclusively benefit PRIVATE POCKETS? ANYONE KNOW???

Keep this beach, land and access for the public. There are few enough areas where the public and tourists are welcome.

Please don’t change the old world charm of Lido Key, exclusive clubs and high rises is not going to enhance Lido, it’s going to turn it into every other beach town in Florida

City commission needs to refresh their thinking. They should remember their own humble beginnings. Families in our county must have access to a plain natural beach and no country club facade...Look at Venice, FL. all except for the Sharkys nonsense on the Casperson beach.

Overdevelopment of the the charm that Lido offers has many concerns fore including increased loitering, crime, polution, more traffic issues to already terrible traffic in season, cost of taxes and Fema issues.

This is our hometown beach and we would like to keep it that way.
Please don't allow greed to rule in Sarasota.
