Pleasssse do not ruin our Lido Beach pavillion. We Love it. Just tidy it up with some fresh paint ..and it will last another 50 years!. We have enough resturants and drinking establishments in town. My husband memorial bench is there

What part of “no” does the City Manager not understand????

Lido Pavilion is enjoyed by both residents and visitors a like. The City Commissioners who support a restaurant/event venue should seriously rethink their position for the good of the people and not for the extra tax revenues gained by the business if this moves forward.

It’s a great beach and people need to enjoy it but we need to save it first

Scale back to an update that is not a restaurant but which architecturally pays homage to the original Lido Casino. A small Tiki Bar & burgers is fine but not a night club as proposed. Keep it in scale with the surrounding community! Love Lido!

I like the laid back old Florida atmosphere as it is.

For 30 years we have been visiting Lido Key and love it. It still has the informality that has now been destroyed at Siesta Key. I am not a local but if these plans went ahead we would not return again.

Please don’t ruin this happy place. We don’t want to hear music into the wee hours. That’s why there is O’leary’s Tiki bar on the bay front. Thank you

I prefer maintaining the status quo of the Lido Beach and Pavilion that I've enjoyed as a resident. It has become apparent that development and favor to developers and special economic interest parties has changed and forever will change the character of Sarasota and Sarasota County if leadership continues to cater to them while ignoring the general population of Sarasota and the citizens of the county.

No Privatization! Keep Sarasota accessible to all! Sarasota has lost enough beachfront to big money!

I am opposed to this proposed privatisation on the basis that it will detract from the look, feel and history of a terrific location and reduce accessibility for residents and visitors alike. Please note that I am a great fan and customer of the Daquiri Deck, but just don’t think this project appropriate.
