This is terrible ,taking away a public place,that brings a lot of revenue into the area,so some wealthy people can only use it

As now operated the Pavilion is a wonderful community facility. I love to lap swim here and have told many people about the special spot.I can't believe the City would consider such a crass renovation and privatization. Please wake up City Council and save a special unique and iconic community facility. Please do not reduce the beach to the private den of a few night club crawling bling people. You will only undermine the community character if you do so. We visit Lido once a year from California, and probably will no longer if this is the direction the City will go.

Save the pavilion....Keep the renovation simple...no Daquiri Deck...Families want to enjoy the casual and inexpensive venue...we don't need the additional traffic and congestion that will only increase with time....

keep the pavilion casual and simple where folks can enjoy a hot dog, hamburger, etc. and not spend a fortune. We don't need cabanas, conference centers, etc. Just a easy facelift should suffice. There will be too many cars and too much traffic. No. No. Daquiri Deck....

Please keep up the good work. We are coming all the way from Germany to stay at our house in Sarasota and we go to Lido beach, the concession stand and public pool almost daily.

Please do not change anything at the pavilion. Families that cannot afford beach front properties rely on these facilities to enjoy the beach.

While visiting this beautiful part of the sun coast , Florida from Ontario , Canada I have always been impressed with open public venues such as Lido Beach and the Pavilion . To think that anyone from the surrounding area can come and enjoy the facility is a credit to the locals that own property and businesses on or near the beach. Keep a small part of this paradise available to those who work hard and want to enjoy spending their precious leisure time here. That’s what the founders of this area such as John Ringling would have wished for.
