We enjoy Lido Beach as it is now - a family friendly, quiet, local beach. Would hate to see that change just so someone can make more money.

Lido beach and pavilion should be open and accessible to all residents regardless of economic status. We need to keep as much beachfront as possible for regular folks. Haven’t the 1% taken enough in Sarasota?
Keep Lido pavilion funky, local and accessible to all!!!

Lido is a publically owned family city beach facility and although we are not opposed to a restaurant upgrade we are opposed to a privately owned bar. Santa Monica Beach has a lovely indoor/outdoor beach restaurant that serves great food and serves as a model for Sarasota.

You should NOT commercialize this public beach! There are enough restaurants already in Sarasota.

As a frequent user because of the parking ease strongly oppose these changes; This is a popular venue and would be sorely missed

Please make the right decision and DO NOT ruin Lido Beach by adding a large restaurant and tiki bar.

Please do not convert Lido Key into another Siesta key!! Check the occupancy stats for the existing facilities in the area, and heaven knows we have enough Bars and drunk drivers as it is. But more importantly commercialization of public facilities and land is not what the city fathers were elected to do, their time would be better spent solving the beach erosion problem, for without the beach there is no need for a Tiki bar!!!

This is a commercialization of a public facility. There is more than ample "night life" available nearby. Adding to the drinking and late night activity diminishes the entire key. A more exclusive area is not necessary, This small key already has the Ritz Carlton....another one is totally unreasonable. KEEP THE BEACH ACCESSIBLE FOR FAMILIES, NOT NIGHT LIFE!

We’ve done enough to push out the common public from some of the most historic and beautiful beach front amenities. Enough is enough.

Bathrooms are overdue for renovations. Current pavilion is great for families. A bar is not wanted here.
