The current proposal is going to change the true nature of this public use facility for the benefit of the developers. This will also make a traffic hazard and change the atmosphere of our neighborhood. I am strongly opposed to this proposal.

As property owners on Lido Key, we strongly oppose the commercialization of the Lido Beach Pavilion and urge the Commissioners to carefully scrutinize the proposal for the burden this project threatens to impose upon the residents of the City and County of Sarasota with no corresponding offsetting benefits.

Lido Pavilion was hijacked in the name of money. The City Fathers continue to sell off parts of Sarasota that are the fabric of the City.

I live on Polk Dr across the street. 10:30 closing time is gonna bring excess noise. The parking is already a problem.

Please do not privatize Lido Beach. This is a public beach and should remain public for all residents and visitors.

Public beaches should be accessible to ALL the public! Worry about the damage to the shoreline caused by bad decisions since the 70's and let people enjoy what's left- for free. ( our Sarasota tax $ $)

If Sarasota wants to continue to be a city accessible to "everyone" the money will be spent all over town at locally owned businesses. If Sarasotas' vision has become only for "the rich" the monitary gain will only be for the wealthy beachfront operation. Sad.

Please do not consider such privatizing of public beaches. Greed will destroy our state. Over development of our county is a false sense of boosting the economy. Listen to the voice of Sarasota citizens and the voice of reason. Stop and desist.
