This cannot happen! There are few inexpensive family friendly places in the area. The area certainly doesn’t need another restaurant/bar. Would ruin the area.

We love going to Lido. Parking isn’t nearly as much of a hassle as is Siesta. Not as crowded either. When we go for sunset, we eat at the pavilion and the kids, us too, really enjoy ourselves. When you have kids going to the beach, you also have a lot to carry. I don’t want to walk forever with all of our hands full.

Sarasota is a lovely city. I moved here 25 yrs ago. It seems that all the growing that is taking place is geared towards the upper echelon and pushing out the regular people and families. I only go to lido because it is low key and has a very raw natural feel. It hasn’t been socialized up to now and is a special place people come to for relaxation and play. Please let us the regular taxpayer have a place to go where it doesn’t break the bank. Many things do here. Thank you!

I am not a Florida resident but owned on Longboat for 20+ years and now rent a cottage 2 blocks from the Lido Key pavilion for 3 months each year. This proposal will change the character of Lido Beach and neighborhood. Not being a tax payer, directly anyway, I would be happy to support the Lido Pavillion as it currently functions by buying a membership or other means. A Siesta Key type attraction on Lido Beach is NOT what is needed and would not encourage me to continue my many years renting on Lido.

We love the pavilion at Lido Beach! We travel to Lido Key a few times a year from GA and do not want to see an upscale, private restaurant/bar there! Please keep this beautiful space as is and open to the public!

Don't privatize Lido Beach. It is wonderful the way it is. Why mess it up just to please a developer at the expense of citizens. Show some cohonos and stand up for you constituents for a change!!!

Overdevelopment=Increased traffic problem....parking problem....selective patron bias (too expensive)....destroys the "Lido Ambience".....Vote NO !!!
