We have been coming to Lido Beach/St, Armands for over thirty five years, and now retired make this wonderful location our permanent home.
Please, lets keep it family oriented, don't turn it into another South Beach!!!.

The pavilion shd remain a public facility. The introduction of a “bar” atmosphere will totally change the neighborhood and beach. Not to mention the increased traffic, noise and parking facilities.

Please keep lido local. Don’t add more traffic to st Armand’s and the quiet neighborhoods of lido. No one actually wants a daiquiri deck on the beach. The owner of the snack bar restaurant there currently is the best. I go there because it’s quiet and I can relax. Please don’t change that.

The current pavilion is wonderful. It just needs to be upgraded. The food is good with a nice selection and it is so nice having a shop to grab items forgotten.

Please do not allow privatization of our natural resources. The beach belongs to everyone and access should be free.

Completely opposed to the commercialization of Lido Pavillion....for the sake of retaining the casual vibe and history of the neighborhood as well as a true public beach! And as an aside, we do not need more late nite traffic and cars parking in the medians, ruining the landscaping...think 4th of July boat races!!!!! All for $$$$$!!!

I'm deeply disappointed in all SRQ officials who support taking our beach, especially Brody!
Haven't you ruined Sarasota enough for the year around locals?

I really care about this cause, and I'd love it if you joined me in supporting it. It's free and takes just a few seconds of your time.
Thanks!

My husband and I have owned a condo directly across from the Lido pavilion for 7 years. We originally fell in love with the area because of the calm, quaint feel of Lido Key. I am saddened to think the place is going to be commercialized and sent into the absolute opposite direction. What will happen to the turtle nesting? How can we possibly handle the traffic this will incur. I certainly hope cooler heads prevail.

Please keep Lido Beach and facilities as they are or upgrade a little, but most of us who live here on Lido are opposed to the grandiose plans we have heard. In fact many of us on the key earlier were not kept in the loop of this project. Please keep Lido Beach simple and friendly for all.

Do not allow developers to build on the Lido Pavillion thereby ruining the community by expanding and bringing in more traffic, congestion, noise which will deminish quality of life and home values as well.
