The proposed plans do not seem to be in the public's interest, serving a minority of upscale guests versus a majority of residents and visitors. Parking and traffic issues alone will seriously hamper access to Lido Beach, and the exorbitant cabana fees and upscale restaurant will be obstacles for the everyday beach goer. Personally, I bought my house in Sarasota 3 years ago with the prospect of living and retiring in an area accessible to its beautiful beaches, and feel that privatization will adversely affect market values.

I am signing this to prevent and oppose the proposed privitazation of Lido Pavillion. I was born and raised here. Don't take this from me and my fellow humans. Nature needs all the help she can get, please don't sacrifice her. Thank you

Lets not give away the best beach in Sarasota and take it away from the families to wait all week to come and enjoy instead of turning it into a Daytona Beach full of Spring Breakers!

I have been a tax paying homeowner in Sarasota for 30 years. I say no to privatizing Ludo Beach Pavilion.

I moved to Lido because of the quiet atmosphere. Update the bathrooms and concession but the rest of these plans are over the top. And Lido needs more traffic like a hole in the head

Between the courts ruling that people can't enjoy beaches where homes have private access and now this, the county is pandering to their wealthy donors and not ALL residents of Sarasota Co.

I strenuously object to any further development of our last remaining
truly public beach. These rapacious developers have already despoiled enough of Sarasota for their own short term excessive profits at our expense!

My feeling is that the Daiquri Deck plan will forever take away from Lido Pavilion the peaceful atmosphere that brought so many of us to invest in the neighborhood. Please listen to what the people want as opposed to taking the easy way out from many years of neglect and bureaucratic blunder.
