Absolutely hypocritical of PVPA to fire Lewis for the reasons that have been presented

I don't think that he should get fired over this when there are other issues that are more serious that arent getting handled. Also this isnt going to solve anything. We should be brain storming to find a solution that could actually help and prevent any further issues like this

Lewis had the biggest impact on my life as a teacher when I was going through the most difficult time. He took the time to help and teach me, not just about his classes but life. He understood I was having some trouble and did not judge me. I still to this day (I graduated in 2008) talk about him and how he made a difference in my life. I pourposly took certain classes because he was teaching them. Firing him would mean no other students at PVPA would have the support and care that Lewis gives. He made me see things in the world that I didn't see before. He helped my love of writing expand. I will forever be grateful for having him as a teacher at PVPA and I hope many other PVPA students in the future can be impacted by him as I was.

Lewis Changed my life as a writer and an artist, and seeing that I know play upwards of 200 shows a year, I would consider his influence boneafied.

The writing class I took with Lewis was immensely helpful to my college education and later career. I graduated PVPA in 2010, and while I have no recollection of his clerical habits, Lewis' teaching has stuck with me to this day.

Lewis is an amazing teacher! I never leave his class not learning something and I've never not had a good experience with him. He goes above and beyond for his students unlike any other teacher in the building

Lewis was such a huge inspiration for our daughter and helped her see herself as a writer and scholar. We can't say enough about what a treasure he is. Please don't allow this to happen.

Lewis is a person with faults, but it would be completely rash and inappropriate to take away the privilege of his said-to-be life-changing classes from the students.

Why is this major change being hidden under all Social Media? Do we have no say anymore? There is no need to get rid of Lewis. Lewis has life changing classes and supports his students on every level. Losing him would be a really bad move PVPA. SAVE LEWIS 2017.

Lewis is one of the GREATEST teachers I have come across. He provides a higher level of education and teaching for students that we absolutely NEED at pvpa. He has helped students reach higher levels and better understandings of the world we live in as well as done SO much for the community and diversity in pvpa. Getting rid of him will be the BIGGEST mistake the school could possibly ever make.
