Lewis is one of the best and most passionate teachers I have ever had. Firing him for this reason would be a huge mistake. He gives so much to the community and works every class to engage and challenge his students. He has done more than anyone else to prepare me for my academic career after PVPA. We care about him as much as he cares about all of us. Save Lewis!

My daughter had Lewis for more than one class. She disliked English for many years, but this changed in large part due to Lewis' class. She became engaged, and became a better critical thinker. I will be disappointed if Lewis is let go, due to other students then not having the benefit of his ability to reach them in the way he has already helped so many others.

As a parent of a 10th grader, and the step parent to two PVPA graduates, I'm very impressed with Lewis' thoughtful, philosophical, 'higher thinking' approach to literature. I wish I could take his classes. His electives 'Through White Eyes' and 'Essay Writing' are transformative to every student I know who has taken them.

He has been nothing but a Blessing to PVPA. In fact one of Julian's favorite Faculty. You have no idea the impact that he has on past and present student. It is imperative that you listen to the student body and take heade to everything that is said.

Lewis has always been an incredible teacher who inspired me to pursue a career in the social sciences. To fire him would be a great disservice to all future PVPA students.

Lewis Goff is the best teacher that has ever taught at PVPA. Firing him will be the worst decision that anyone at PVPA in their right mind could ever do. Please don't fire because there are idiots that attend that school.

I'm unaware of the specific issues surrounding this move for termination, but I do know that Lewis was not only a strong role model, but an engaging teacher and a wonderful friend. I'm saddened to hear that there have been complaints, and I feel for anyone who has not had the same experience as I did with Lewis as a teacher. I'm equally saddened that a person so influential to my high school experience is facing this very serious consequence for seemingly unclear reasons.

It is fact, that were it not for the ability to loop write essays in class with Lewis and share them with my peers for numerous rounds of peer editing, I would not have had an essay suitable to apply to college. Nor would I have been awarded a merit scholarship from an insitution who's academic and creative standards are as high as Boston University's.
Lewis was instrumental in laying the groundwork for my love of literature, poetry and songwriting. Without his example I would have not found any interest in writing of any distinguished calliber.
To lose Lewis Goff, would be a to willingly disgregaurd an inmeasruable and iconic role model to PVPA's learning community.
I would viemintly advise that the administration reconsider their position.

I am a 2014 graduate of PVPA, and Lewis is the best language arts teacher I've have ever had. Smart, thought-provoking, encouraging, kind-hearted, welcoming, you name it! To this day he continues to inspire me, consciously
and unconsciously. His termination would be a huge loss the PVPA community, and for the future PVPA students who would never have the chance to be in his classes. I feel blessed to have had him be my teacher.

Lewis is an excellent teacher. I am a 2012 graduate who went off to college and then got and excellent job in the tech industry. and I can tell you right now. when looking back, it was the assignments that actually mattered NOT how fast he returned them to us.
in the long run, the time it took to get assignments back really doesn't matter, as long as you can prove to the teacher that you know the material. Lewis really cared about his students and I can't fathom the change that is happening to pvpa.
Lewis was a part of pvpa that made my experience much much better.
He helped me write my college essay which actually mattered in the long run.
