As an alumnus of Washington & Lee, I know that R.E. Lee has a multi-faceted life, but was a great person and a fervent Episcopalian. The windows should remain.

I don't any one has the right to try and destroy history, those who served on both sides loved this country and have been given a place to honor. Thank you.

The stained glass windows depicting Genl's Lee and Jackson are part of the Cathedrals history and heritage and should remain in place.

I am very proud of all of my ancestors who fought in the Civil War, including my two great, great grandfathers who fought for the CSA. They were not "traitors" as some who are exploiting recent events for political agendas are describing them.

My ancestors, who could neither read nor write, served the Confederacy to protect their land and their rights within their states, but at the end of the war laid down their arms and went home to rebuild their land and their lives. I respect their beliefs and their service. They are part of our American history --- right or wrong. Please leave these stained windows in place to memorialize these brave men.

History should not be erased; nor should a society try to do so. It is the baseline defense for what was bad and what was good so that we may know the correct path for the future.
It is a shame not to save these windows!
When will this lunacy end??
Keep our history sacred! Quit trying to erase it!
