If the windows must be removed, then at minimum do please store them safely intact... so that once this insane reprehensible hysteria passes they can be put back where they will always belong. My ancestors fought on BOTH sides of that war, and in every other war this nation has fought since the Revolution up to the present day.

Our history will never be wiped out. Too many of our family members were killed and wounded to protect their right to a limited government. The cost, in addition, is unnecessary and prohibitive!! Where will it end??

How ironic that the people who want to change our history to make themselves feel better about their own failings not only don't know American history, but after they change it, they won't learn their perverted version, either!

This is taking the cultural cleansing of America too far. Why do we hear of the piety of Lee and Jackson and the revival fever that happened among the CSA armies but not the North? Stop judging the past with the shallow morality of the present.

These windows need to remain in place. When one erases history they erase the quest for knowledge and diminish respect for others.
I doubt today there are many young people who can even answer simple questions regarding these men and this pivotal period in American history.
