Our minor injuries unit is vital in a rural community with poor public transport and an ever growing population. We simply cannot be without it.

I am appalled that no one informed the people of Launceston of the closure of the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU). It will effect many people in Launceston especially those without cars as the nearest MIU is between 15 to 25 miles away.

Absolutely absurd not to have a MIU in a town that is constantly expanding. What about those local people who do not have transport to go elsewhere

We are so far away from the District hospitals. These centres could save lives

This is vital for our town especially as many do not have cars etc and very limited bus services so leaving people stranded!

We need our MIU open. There are several people that cannot travel to other hospitals

North Cornwall’s MIUs are all vital for those of us who live an hour’s drive from the nearest hospital: Public transport is inadequate here and ambulance crew time is spent travelling long distances between cases and hospital. NHS Kernow must stop these “Temporary” closures and provide a good level of NHS service for ALL parts of Cornwall.
