This hospital is a vital part of our community. It is too far to travel to the next nearest minor injuries unit. Launceston mi unit have saved lives.

This is a vital service and as there is no hospital near by it is highly stupid to close this service.

Launceston and surrounding communities need the MIU as a necessity to a growing population and not to give NHS Staff the added burden of travelling further on top of a long working day. and speak from experience

As the only driver in the family the cost of a taxi elsewhere is prohibitive so would have to call an ambulance at a time where they would probably have more urgent cases to see.

As someone with with chronic lung disease the MIU is very vital. It is a medical necessity with the nearest major hospital being so far away

With the ambulance service and Derriford being rushed off their feet, surely having launceston minor injuries unit open makes sense

I would not be surprised if the closure becomes permanent. Where we lived previously a similar thing happened. Of course a sham consultation took place but the decision had already been made and despite strong opposition the closure went. Those in charge don't care or listen. Hope I'm wrong

Our Launceston MIU is invaluable living so far from Plymouth. Over the years it has served my family well. A possible Appendix, A glued head and the Nebuliser used. Please reopen and care for the Launceston area.

Ridiculous decision in light of the critical situations at Emergency Depts. in our 'main' hospitals. Even if they don't care what happens to people in need surely the powers that be can see that staff working at Launceston are helping to reduce stress on staff/equipment at main hospitals
