So sad to see vital community services disappearing.
There are families who cannot travel to alternative towns/cities for triage/treatment, and the strain on the ambulance service can means a wait of 8 hours+ before they can atttend. It’s heartbreaking.

With Launceston growing rapidly and also the annual influx of visitors we desperately need our MIU.

Increasing population, crazy to close the minor injury unit.

As a mum of 4 boys I have used Launceston MIU many times so to not have the use of it now is very worrying!

Closure would impact this rural community massively. With little to no public transport to other towns with an MIU people will struggle.

Should never have been closed.
With all the new housing in Launceston area it’s very important or the pressure on Derriford Hospital will be even greater.

I am disabled and have reli9ed upon this unit in the past, asking us to travel to Liskeard or other units is putting lives in danger and unacceptable.

We have not got enough Hospital's or medical services in Cornwall as it is. To lose this facility is gross neglect to the people of Cornwall. These Hospital's not only serve the Cornish Communities but the holiday fraternity and 2nd home owners . We need more Hospital's and medical facilities not reduced services..

There's more people than ever living in Launceston with new houses being built all the time so we desperately need to keep Launceston minor injuries open.

Another case of save money not lives, this kind of short term thinking does not win out in the long run.
