Come and live in our rural areas before you decide to deprive us of our health care needs.

It takes me 10 minutes to get to launceston hospital, in an emergency. I takes 40 minutes to get to Derrisford. It often takes an Ambulance 50 minutes to get to Derrisford admittedly they can do life saving en route. There are those living in Launceston that are living on very low income can not afford a car of their own or have given up driving due to health or old age. How the hell do they get emergency treatment that is not life threatening? or do they also phone an Ambulance, over loading the system and services? When the hell are those in power going to wake up and see simple common sense?

This Hospital is critical to our area as it is miles to the nearest Hospital. Not everyone can get to. Very crucial to this area to be left open.

Pls don't take this life live away from launceston. In the passed I've found it a much needed facility for myself and my one daughter. You would be robbing launceston of an amazing place that is very much depended on.

Without this hospital, our sick children have to unnecessarily travel to a hospital in a different county 45 minutes away!

We need these hospitals especially in cornwall. Closing them is ludicrous.

We cannot loose this vital part of our community. Over the years this unit has helped my children when they have been ill or had accidents, can you imagine having to get an injured and distressed child all the way to Plymouth for treatment? And our relatives have received wonderful care for during their last few weeks of life, where would they go? Also Launceston holds clinics instead of going to Derriford for appointments . Some people don't have transport let alone the added costs of fuel and parking to get to Derriford.

When Derriford is saying clearly that it can't cope with the demand on its services how in hell can closing hospitals around it make any sense at all. The lunatics are running the asylum!!!

Launceston General hospital and minor injuries are a vital service for our ever increasing population hundreds more houses are planne d and being built. Bed blocking at Derriford is a major problem A and E at Derriford is already at breaking point how will it cope with increasing numbers. Launceston hospital was built in the 1930,s before the NHS existed on land gifted to the totem. We assume the town still owns it. What are the plans for the site. How would closing the hospital effect the plans for the medical centre

These small hospitals must stay open as some cannot travel to the larger hospitals .

I've used the minor injuries several times. The staff are fabulous and it has saved me going into Derriford which is usually extremely busy,

If this hospital is closed. What happens to patient that need nursing care do? Surely it is common sense that if these hospitals close there will be more bed blocking at Derriford. Closing it will add to the trust's problem not help it.
