This is a vital resource for the community and also the thriving tourist industry which brings the thousands of people to visit the area.

This Hospital is essential to the community, I've just been up there for treatment, took only 20mins out of my day, I'm self-employed, going down to Derriford for treatment would cost me 2 to 3 hours, and increase congestion, never mind the petrol, parking fees, if I could find a place. The people who decide these things have to look at the bigger picture. large hospitals are under pressure, let the local ones release some of that, make them better not close them, Launceston town is growing. how large will it be in 10 yrs time, so short sighted to threaten closure.

Our local hospital prevents bed blocking at Derriford Hospital. Closure is counter-productive. The minor injuries clinic also saves Derriford A&E from even longer delays in treating emergencies.

This is a much used and needed facility, sending people to Derriford or Exeter when they are already struggling is life threatening, STOP closing minor units

Please keep our hospital. It would be a disaster for local people. Especially those who do not drive!

This hospital was paid for by the people of the town and surrounding area originally so it is not the property of the NHS to close. It allows family members to be discharged from Derriford [ releasing beds] giving the patient and family peace of mind that they can visit more frequently. This in turn can speed up recovery or allow end of life care to be more dignified. The community is increasing so quickly it would be insane to take away all the facilities the hospital provides, Plus it provides employment!

We need to keep our hospital, It is a vital part of our community. Being in a rural area the next nearest is 26 miles away not everybody has the resources to get there

As Derriford is the nearest main hospital to Launceston, 25 miles away, I feel it's extremely important to keep the minor injuries unit!

My wife, mother and a good friend received treatment in the latter stages of terminal illness at Launceston. Being able to visit loved ones without an hours journey each way was wonderful. Access to minor injuries has the same benefit.

How can a hospital that is continuously used be closed, people living in Launceston and surrounding villages will have to travel 30 miles or more for nearest medical help especially at weekends, no one has really thought about this at all

As the town grants planning to increase in size this is too valuable to loose, my son was born here as an emergency, had it not been there circumstances would have been very different
