We have used this facility on a number of occasions and it has saves us from travelling over a fifty mile round trip to derifford hospital or from calling an ambulance, as the service is local and effective.

It is a needed and valued service and I have used this hospital quite a few times. We would be extremely upset and hugely disappointed if it was to close.

Please save the minor injuries unit in launceston. Without it we have to drive to Plymouth, an hour away. Lots of families here with young children like us need to emergency hospital as an hour away would be too late!!

Absolutely devastating to the town and surrounding villages. I was in there the other day with one of my children with a concerning rash. Other parents were there with their own children with all sorts I.e, head injury. For us to get to A and E would be 40 to 60 mins depending on traffic. These departments are already stretched. Launceston MIA is essential to our rural community.

When you have young children it makes us feel safer that this hospital is here. They do an amazing job

I have had fingers stitched, chest infections sorted out, my son has had his eyes washed out, my mother has been dealt with.
We all would have to travel 30 miles to the nearest A & E .
I was seen with a B.P of 190/120 at one time.
This will create a high mortality risk, and place further strain on Derriford Hospital.

We have an older population in Cornwall and closing yet another hospital is crazy and killing people, in this day and age there is no excuse for this.
Stop sending money abroad, look after the UK first!

Scandalous....on one hand the housing stock is rising and on the other hand this lunacy!!
Age is not an issue...sickness is the issue...ok let's just clog up Derrford!!!
