Save Launceston Hospital and it's Minor Injury Unit

As Launceston is a growing town I feel this is a needed fascility.

Absolutely needs to be saved. Great place and staff are a credit to the community! Very much needed and used, if anything it needs more support! This place cannot go!!!!!!!

God knows we pay enough taxes that keeping this hospital open should be a breeze. Manage our money better so that our services can remain and not be ruthlessly cut.

Better social care is not going to make a difference, we need both

The hospital is a life line for the local community. When my baby wasn't breathing properly we took him there and nurses kept his breathing under control while we waited for an ambulance. It took an hour for the ambulance to arrive, I can't even bare to think what the out come would have been if the hospital wasn't there!! Please don't close such a valuable asset!!

Keep lanson hospital open a vital resource in lanson care for elderly it supports all local sports groups with injury. Reduces numbers waiting at derriford hospital which struggles

With pressure on ED at Derriford closing Launceston minor injuries which is an hour travelling away will add even more pressure to this unit. The bed blocking at Deffiford will also increase and add extra pressure on other hospitals. These other hospitals are 30mins or more away so elderly people will suffer as either can't travel themselves or people can't visit. There is no decent public transport links to other towns and hospitals. This will also add extra cost to many people who can ill afford the costs. Outpatient appointments will need people having to travel long distances for treatment or consultation when feeling unwell. Closing local hospitals is short sighted and could possibly be better used to ease pressure on the larger hospitals.

We need our hospital .In an emergency we can't travel an hour to our nearest hospital if Ours is closed .

Need to keep this hospital as we are over 30 mins from the nearest major hospital

Have used the minor injuries unit many times, would be a real loss to the town if it went, especially with the nearest hospital being so far it is just not practical for many people.

It's terrible that our hospital is under threat! We rely on minor injuries, the next MIU is at least a 20min drive away! We have so many people living in our town which will be increasing over the coming years, please don't take our hospital away!

Essential services need to be kept and maintained. Minor Injuries closure will add pressure on the ED/A&E at Derriford Hospital.

We need this hospital, so shortsightedness of the NHS! Once it's gone it will be hard to get a service back (once they realise what a stupid decision they've made)!

Both myself and my family have used the MIU and emergency dentist here.

The hospital is central to the town particularly those who are terminally ill

I used to live in Launceston and for someone like me who has servea asthma attacks if was not for Launceston hospital i wpuld off died save the hospital or watch the death rate go up xx

This shouldn't be closing!

Have used this MIU before and it has been a pleasure. Where will the nearest hospitals be without it? Bodmin? Derriford? If this closes, I think we'll see an increase in people not getting the help they need.
