I do not get to participate as often as I would like but, not participating is just not an option. Los Alamos Sportsman Club must continue to be a community asset ... thank you

The LASC provides a safe and managed location for people to hone their firearm skills. It is vital to the community and it would be a detriment to the county if removed over a technicality.

Keep the shooting range and not force people to go shoot on BLM or national forest which is not as safe as the range.

LASC has provided me a fun and safe area to learn about archery and gun safety. It also provides a safe place for citizens to practice their firearms skills.

It is vital that the Sportsmans club remain active and in its present location in Los Alamos County. It protects the canyon areas that are close to residential areas being used for target practice putting people in harm's way. It provides a save environment for weapon handling and hunters safety courses within our county. Scouting groups are able to earn their badges and the average person can go to make new friends and learn to shot. It is time to allow the people of Los Alamos to keep what they have. Let them build overpriced housing somewhere else. We already have enough housing that only Lab workers can afford.

LASC provides a valuabe and safe location for target shooters and competitors to engage in the sport. To lose the facility would be a tragedy for not only the Los Alamos community and its resident's who use the facilities, but also the wider northern New Mexico community who regularly visit for events and competitions at LASC

The sportsman’s club has been a staple in the Los Alamos community for many years. It provides a safe place for our children to learn how to properly handle firearms and a valuable training facility for community members and law enforcement. I urge the state and federal officials to recognize the incredible value that the sportsman’s club brings to Los Alamos and to ensure that it stays around for current and future generations to enjoy.
