I've been a customer of Sunrise Mountain Sports for many, many years, and have always been very satisfied with their services, including the kayak center at Del Valle. I have also been a reasonably large donor to the East Bay Regional Parks District in past years.

Kim and his family have been a major supporter of the kayaking community at large and for the Livermore/East Bay in particular. I have always been pleased with the quality and professionalism of the staff at the current Kayak Center. They also offer a wide variety of kayaks and classes there. It would be a shame to switch vendors that would offer a lesser quality and variety of kayaking at Del Valle.

I am a Livermore resident who uses Lake Del Valle on a weekly basis. I fish, Kayak, hike and walk my dogs there. One of the things that makes Livermore a special place to live is the outdoor recreational oppertunities afforded to not only the residents, but to all residents of Alameda County and neighboring counties. Sunrise Mountain Sports is a local business I not only support, but endorse. They are professional, polite stewards of nature. They have intorduced not only my family, but also many friends to the joys of kayaking. Kim, his brother and all the staff are extreemly knowledgeable in all aspects of watersports. They hold seminars, rent quality equipement and are an asset to not only Livermore and the county, but to the Regional Park system. The East Bay Regional Park system provides millions of Bay Area residents with a safe, clean and educational enviorment. This company is solid and represents what I, as a taxpayer and resident, want in my community. Please keep the family at Sunrise Mountain Sports as the kayak concessionaire at Del Valle. both
