The Sunrise Kayak Center is an excellent family activity in the Bay Area. There aren't too many activities like this avaliable anymore don't take this away too!

Sunrise Mountain Sports offers some excellent programs on Lake Del Valle. They have well trained employees in both safety and teaching. Being a local business with a strong community connection makes them ideal for Lake Del Valle. I strongly support keeping this known and well respected company as concessionaire.

After all the Sunrise has done to build the community at Del Val it would be a major slap in the face to the paddling community and Sunrise for the Board to approve another shop.

I love what Sunrise Mountain Sports Kayak Center, at lake del valle adds to the community. They offer hands on courses that are actually taught by Kim the owner. It would be a loos to the community and a loss to outdoor enthusiast if this contract was taken away. The main reason I visited Lake Del Valle is because of the Kayak Center. Without it being there I have no reason go back.

Kim and the staff at Sunrise are proffesionals and are concerned that the local community have a great recreational and educational experience at Lake Del Valle. To consider another vendor who promises less revenue for this operation smells of political mischief. Perhaps we should involve the media to look into this matter along with a request for local residents to respond to the boards proposed actions.

Please keep them at Del Valle - I have used their services numerous times and recomended their services to multiple friends and family members. They are a fantastic organization with an excellent staff and equipment.
