Save Lake Del Valle Kayak Center

it would go against community health and wellness to get rid of a business that promotes activities for the community and it's families.

As a 14-year member of the East Bay Regional Park District's Volunteer Trail Safety Patrol, and long-time EBRPD Volunteer Marine Patrol participant as a kayaker at Lake Del Valle, I would like to commend Sunrise Mountain Sports for what I believe has been a very commendable way in which Sunrise Mountain Sports has provided and enhanced the watercrafting experience at Lake Del Valle over the years. I enthusiastically petition and encourage the EBRPD Board of Directors to reconsider, and renew Sunrise Mountain Sports' concession to run the Kayak Center at Lake Del Valle.

I have shopped at Sunrise since they opened in Walnut Creek. They carried on their rich tradition of serving the community here to Livermore. I have heard nothing but praise for the way they have managed the concession at the Lake. Please keep them on!

I would encourage Park Board to allow Sunrise Mountain Sports to continue operating the Kayak Center at Lake Del Valle. They are highly professional and offer a great outdoor water sport destination to the public. i have been an annual East Bay Park pass holder for years and will most likely discontinue my support for the East Bay Park system if the Sunrise Kayak Center is replaced by another operator. Please keep Sunrise Mountain Sports as the Lake Del Valle Kayak Center operator!

Please retain the Kayak Center concession at lake Del Valle. #1 attraction during our company outing this yr. An excellent facility for all lake users.

Sunrise Mountain Sports provides educational opportunities at the Kayak Center for both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Thank you Sunrise Mountain Sports for all you do to support Scouting in our community!

Sunrise is a positive long term business in Livermore who should be allowed to continue servicing the community they work in.

The Kayak Center is a wonderful asset to the park. Lots of families enjoy the opportunity to rent the kayaks and paddleboards. It would be a shame to lose this wonderful recreational opportunity which is unique to Del Valle.

I learnt to kayak throuhg sunrise and was introduced to lake del valle through their shop and them taking me to this place for lessons. i have also joined many of their social paddle sessions advertised through thier shop for weekend and vacation day events... I consider Sunrise to be a vlaubale advertising agent for Lake Del Valle as well as the monetary value theuy bring directly!

Changing the kayak center makes no sense whatsoever!
