Renew the Del Valle Kayak Center concession with Sunrise Mountain Sports. This is the best run & best outfitted kayak rental concession on a lake in N. California.
I think the system has been working just fine,,,let's not fix something that isn't broken.

Thr current concessioaire has always done a fine job, and their store is much closer then anyone else's making it easier in emergencies.

We've used the Sunrise Mountain Sports Kayak Center many times and have always had a great experience. I hope they are able to keep their contract and serving the Del Valle/Livermore community.

Stay with Sunrise to run the Kayak center. They are doing a good job. With the quaga muscle inspection, it's harder to take our own kayak there because of the inspection.

I have to assume taking that away from Sunrise Mountain would greatly affect their ability to continue to operate as a business. I have utmost respect for the team at Sunrise and would be concerned by the impact on the overall business, a locally owned business that has shown professionalism and commitment to the local community over decades
