Industrial size turbines are not right for an island like Kythera. Visitors come for tranquillity & a natural environment. Huge turbines would ruin the peace & have a significant impact on tourism.

Why would you generate power on Kythera to send it to the main land. It makes no sense. It would definitely have a negative impact on the island is ways that many of us cannot even imagine

I am strongly opposed to the wind turbine construction on the island as it will destroy the amenity and the beauty of this island for all its inhabitants and visitors. This island is loved by its residents and people from all over the world.

To allow an island with as rich a history and such pristine beauty to be turned into an industrial wind farm would be a travesty. Has anyone considered the irreversible damage to the bee population and Kythera's honey production? This cannot be allowed to happen. Exploration to find less invasive ways to introduce renewable energy for the island should replace this plan. To destroy an island that has withstood the cruelty of nature and mankind is unthinkable.

Such a sad day for Kythera and all of Greece that they see this massive over development of such a beautiful and untouched island as the only way to support the economy. Surely there's another way!

Wind turbines will destroy the beautiful island of Kythera and should NOT be allowed. Tourism will die and so will the so called “protected” nature reserves.

I am in favour of wind farms as they are an excellent way of producing green energy but their size and location need to be appropriate to their surroundings. Kythira is such a beautiful unspoiled place and any wind turbines need to be sited where they will not detract from that beauty.
