Save Kythera's Pristine Skyline! Stop industrial wind turbine construction on the Island.

Please don’t destroy the landscape

The Local government invokes strict planning restrictions to ensure the island maintains it’s charm and then we have a ridiculous clean energy proposal that will do more damage to the aesthetics of the environment than anything else. Particularly as they will be seen from everywhere including the sea.

We are regular visitors to Kythira and would consider buying a second home there but not if large scale wind farm development goes ahead. The unspoiled nature of Kythira is its appeal.

Power to the people (that vote you-the government into power as their voice). Progress cannot be achieved by destroying the environment and local communities.

I oppose the current plan to build 100 wind-generators in Kythera. It is not needed, and I am concerned about the environment impact

I have been traveled to see Greece for over 30 years and for years have told people Of the beauty of Greece and her islands. Many islands have now been modernized and destroyed. Kythira is an island unlike so many others, she is pure untouched beauty, please allow something to remain this way. Please do not place these wind turbines all over this special place. There are so many other locations you can place them, not there. Prayers for Kytherians that they can stop this.

Please no energymills on all the greek islands?? The greek mainland or medditerrean see have more space.

Don 't spoil nature with ugly buildings! Especially not Kythera with its special atmosphere of unspoiled views. Think of more beautiful solutions wisch do not spook the islan!

Wind turbines whose industrial form and scale create an inappropriately discordant relationship with the preservation worthiness of Kythera’s pristine built environment landscape heritage. It is an insensitive and unacceptable proposal.

Not our beautiful Kythira. We in a small village in France. They tried to build them there and it’s was stopped. I’m all for alternative energy but not on our door step. When we found out about the total disruption it causes and for especially for nature it was no go.

Put windmills in the sea where nobody can see them
