Why this beautiful island? So many more desolate parts on the mainland.

Don't waste the island with unefficient technology. It is a stop for migratory birds and a place where one can still enjoy SILENCE. Protect it. Don't make experiments and business under the pretext of «green energy». It is not green!!

I strongly object to any wind turbines being placed on Kythira

I strongly object to the installation of an industrial wind farm on Kythera. The proposals will have a disastrous impact on the environment, people living on the island and tourists who visit because of the island's pristine nature.

I have steadfastly opposed wind farm development on Kythira where I won a second home in an architecuturally significant village. The electricity generated does not stay locally. There is nothing in this for Kythira except destruction of a eco-friendly tourist economy and disruption of migratory bird routes.

Kythera is not a cash cow private industrialists
