I do not believe that the scale of the depicted development is appropriate. There must be an environmental impact study and consultation with all parties involved. I have not seen any discussion/comment by or reference to the Enhorio or Dasarheio.

Wind turbines are a blight on our planet !

This is a blight on the landscape. Why do they need to be so high? How can building something of steel and cement etc be environmental good for the sake of renewal energy

Greece relies on tourism and its beauty encourages a strong tourism sector. Don’t ruin Kythera.

I support this petition because I believe large wind farms are detrimental on several levels to the beauty, history and people pf Kythera. other less intrusive and environmentally solutions are available and not out dated as is wind power. These proposed wind turbines have a greater carbon footprint than the so called "clean energy" they will produce over their lifespan. The economic benefit is only to to companies and constructors in the short term. Who will dig up the massive tons ov concrete when the turbines are obselete ?

No windmills please. Isn't there proof that they aren't environmentally friendly. Please do more research. Do not negatively impact on a beautiful island.

there are other ways to create energy... much cheaper and ecologically based... which have been presented... all over the world !!!

What a destructive catastrophe if this is allowed-surely common sense will prevail - who stands to gain from the ruination of our beautiful Island? It is unbelievable that anyone would contemplate such action! I and all my family & friends of the Kytherian Diaspora wholeheartedly support this petition

Kythira is not only the beautiful island to visit but also has historical family connections for many generations and the history of the island is unspoilt and should remain unspoilt and untouched. It should be heritage listed!

Would hate to see such a wonderful place spoiled by a wind farm on this scale. We love the peace and tranquility of Kythira so oppose this development whole heartedly.

Keep Kythera skyline and whole area clean .

I believe that the Greek government should not give permission for these windmills to be built on Kythera. Kythera is promoted as a tourist destination tourist will not be coming to an island full of windmills
