Kuwae was a great preschool for my daughter, Jayda. The teachers truly cared for the kids which meant a lot to me as a parent. By keeping Kuwae, it will afford other children to have the great preschool experience as we did.

My daughter went to Kuwae 2 years ago and my son attended this year. It was a wonderful place for learning and development. It is a place unique to this island and allows children to grow intellectually as well as culturally. Closing Kuwae is a great loss to the community here.

Two of my children attended Kuwae during the 4 years I worked as the education director. Kuwae is such a special place where children thrive. It's such a unique experience for the families stationed on Okinawa Japan. They learn so much about their host nation first hand from the local national teachers employed there. They learn through play, taught by educated teachers that love what they do. The military and local community both need this school. So much would be lost if it didn't continue.

As a teacher at Kuwar Preschool and a parent who's children attended this school. I support this petition. This school and its staff have given so many children wonderful foundation that's culturally diverse to military families for years. Please keep its doors open to continue the love or learning on this wonderful Island of Okinawa.
