Kevin and Bethany’s music ministry is one of the last things keeping us at Incarnation. We continue to hope that they will be able to once again play the joyful and uplifting music that they played when Fr Ernie was there.

Many things during mass at Incarnation are presented in a way that may ignite a light within a lantern. This flame can assist many in shedding light during their life’s journey and is greatly appreciated. While this is true, I will share another truth. The substance and presentation of the music through Kevin and Bethany is comparable to a bonfire. This fire can light quite a few lanterns while giving warmth that penetrates the skin. I certainly hope God is the one making this decision.

It will be a very sad day at Incarnation if this comes to fruition. As many people below have commented, Kevin & Bethany are an incredibly important part of our church. They have transformed our experience at Mass and I cannot imagine our church without them in it.
It would be awesome if Fr Jacek would be open to meeting with parishioners to go into detail the reasoning behind some of the decisions that impact so many. I don’t think transparency is too much to ask, especially when the numbers published weekly in the bulletin are so troublesome. His silence hurts our church as much as the rumor mill does.
The past 2 years have not been without their struggles. My prayer is for healing and that we as a congregation can somehow return to the warm, welcoming, and vibrant place my family had come to love so dearly.

To see what this church was with Father Ernie’s leadership to what it is today is just heartbreaking! When Kevin and Bethany go it will be the final blow to what WAS great and vibrant church.

Kevin and Bethany need to stay.
I am not in favor of picketing or parading this in the media.
We have a serious mishandling of funds. It is impossible to have shortfalls every week for operational expenses. Then each month the debt repayment chart in the Narthex lists donations below the needed monthly payment amount. Yet, we have amassed hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay off the debt early. While we should be happy to have this debt gone, the reporting of the numbers does not add up.
Why are Kevin and Bethany being sacrificed under the cloak of budgetary reasons? Aren’t we about to be rolling in dough with no debt mortgage payment?? How have we hired so many extra staff personnel in the office? If we don’t have the money then we don’t need people to count and deposit what isn’t there.
I pray Bishop Talley will have a full audit and investigation of this before it is too late.

Latonya...I am so very sorry for all that has happened to you and the loss of your job. It appears to be very un-Christlike, and you deserve answers. I hope one day you get them. There is a lot of turmoil at our Church right now, and you got caught up in it. Thank you for your service and for all you have done for us. May God bless you as you seek employment elsewhere.

Funny how the actions of some affect many. Having recently returned from a family visit to Pa., many northern Catholics are staying away from the church as bishops continue to cover up for known abuses by priests. In our own backyard, some are drifting away from the church as we try to overcome bad decisions made by our past bishop. Over the past 4 years, I have experienced personal highs as a catholic to what I now feel is “the slow flushing toilet syndrome”. We are heading the wrong direction. For those who remember the first masses after reassignments, we were told that this church (COI) belonged to us; the parishioners. But over time, our voices and experiences have been muted regarding many decisions which have been made. Now our musicians who have been instrumental in parish growth (3-4 years ago), and currently play a big part in retaining our congregation are on the budget chopping block. Attendance has been decreasing at mass and social functions (fish fry headcount for this year was down 780 paid dinners from the record in 2017). As the saying goes “If its not broke, don’t fix it”! Where do we go from here? The voices from our diocese were heard from above in bringing us a new bishop. Hopefully he will hear us.

WOW, Unbelievable!!!! Father Jacek got rid of the cleaning crew as well,That had been cleaning Incarnation Chruch and School for years. As of July 1st 2019 Because of Father Jacek,I myself and 2 other employees no longer have a job at Incarnation cleaning the School or Chruch..We never got any complaints on our work and our boss checked in consistently with the Chruch and School staff about us and they always gave us a good complement. We have worked Spaghetti dinner,Boo Bash, Women morning,Men's morning, many other events and never got a complaint on our work..I just don't understand how we lost our job,sad face,Members from the Chruch would come in for mass,Come in the Chapel to Pray or just visiting,They would always Thank us or Give us a hug for keeping there Chruch clean and The teachers and students loved Us, Especially Mr.Bobo,The kids will be heartbroken when they find out he is not there in August when school starts...This has really sadden me,To know that he's forcing Kevin & Bethany to go,is just heart breaking.... Nobody needs to go from Incarnation but Father Jacek and those that's in the Chruch office,It has been so many unhappy members of the Church since he has gotten there and has talked about leaving the Church all because of Father Jacek,I have spoken with a few members personally myself to know that,It's time for him to Go..After he made that comment,That his dog was racist He should of been gone from Incarnation then.

Will not allow that to happen. We have been through more than anyone’s share of bureaucracy; and no church should be a dictatorship. Father has now opened himself up to deserved criticism; however for now I’ll keep this civil.

I am very disappointed to say the least. We were trying to make the best of a bad situation when Fr Ernie left with no explanation. We’ve supported Fr Jacek up to this point but I cannot on this decision. The music is an integral part of worship and the Paige’s make it so much better
Lord hear our prayers!
