I truly love the music program that is led by Kevin & Bethany. The songs we so often sing are uplifting, well thought out and that says nothing about the incredible voices that the Paiges share. My 93 year old Dad loves the large screens with the large print of the words and is much easier for him to sing along using the screens versus him opening the hymnal and hunting for the correct song. We have a gift in the Paiges!

We need the uplifting leadership of Kevin and Bethany Paige in our Music ministry. "Sing a new song unto the Lord, let your voices rise" Our voices rise with their direction, I pray we do NOT lose that and I truly puzzled by the purchase of the hymnals and MOST especially the movement of Mary and Joseph, they need to be near their son, Jesus Christ !!

I have been going to church here since Father Ernies first year at Incarnation. I can tell you that since Father Ernie left it has been a slow decay of what was a church where you could literally feel the Holy Spirit. Kevin and Bethany have a special gift that helps us all praise and worship our Lord through their beautiful music. If they go, we go.

Has anyone asked what their salaries have been, and what their salaries are being changed to? Does it even matter? Is there an amount to pay them, that is too much? The church office, like any employer, cannot say what their past or present salaries are. But has anyone asked the people who can say? I love Kevin and Bethany’s music too. And I would hate to see them leave. But, is it possible that Fr. Jacek is making a reasonable change? That his analysis of what is needed is actually correct?

a few years ago i was ready to head to OLPH. then came Father Ernie and shortly therafter Kevin and Bethany. My goodness...do you recall the music prior to their arrival? The folks singing lead were well intentioned and i appreciate their efforts....but the ensuing cacophony of sound was not exactly "rendering a joyful noise." I hated seeing Father Ernie leave but he departed with style and grace. If Kevin AND Bethany depart I might need to consider taking my Sunday obligation a few miles down Poplar. And my weekly contribution. I sure hope Father carefully thinks this out.

I only stayed at Incarceration after Father Ernie left for my granddaughter. Now that she has graduated 8th grade there is nothing keeping us here. It feels like he is undoing everything Father Ernie had accomplished., sound familiar?! There use to be so much joy and love in our church , now I don’t feel it anymore. If the Paige’s leave I am gone for sure too! Looks like I will be going to St Ann’s. Too many backward changes

I think it would an awful mistake to lose Bethany and Kevin. I really believe that they are one tie that binds Incarnation together. If they were to leave I feel sure many others will also leave. We need their upbeat music that just makes you to sing with a joyful heart.

The current music ministry is one of the main reasons our family is a part of this congregation. I pray Father will reconsider this move.

Moving Bethany to part time and cutting her benefits is a strategic move on Father Jacek‘s and Connie’s part. They know if Kevin and Bethany decide to leave on their own accord that they will not owe them a severance. This one move should show everyone at Incarnation that Jacek has no business sense and should not be in charge of the largest Catholic church in a three state area. The only reason that people still go to church at Incarnation is not because of Jacek, but because of Kevin and Bethany‘s talents.

PLEASE READ THIS LETTER FROM KEVIN AND BETHANY: To our Incarnation family, In an effort to provide some clarity as to what has transpired concerning our status at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation, We’d like to give you some information. On Thursday, June 27th, 2019, Fr. Jacek Kowal called Bethany and I in to a meeting with himself and Connie McShane. We were told that our current wage would be decreased due to budget limitations. To be straight forward with you, we’re still confused as to what this will look like exactly. As of June 27th, we understood one thing, today it’s another. Further clarity is still needed regarding pay and benefits. Also, The explanation was given, “I don’t need two music directors” (Fr. Jacek). We can not speak to any further motives behind this decision. We’ve been told that it’s purely “budgetary”. We have not actually made a definitive choice as to resign just yet. We have however told close friends and family that “we think we will have no choice but to find work elsewhere”. That word spreads quick and comes with little clarity. It has been very clear to us that Fr. Jacek’s idea as to what’s expected out of a music department differs from our methods and gifts that we feel we bring to the worship environment. We have tried very hard to accommodate Fr. Jacek’s vision concerning music. The selling of our Collierville home is no indication of our desires to leave Incarnation or Collierville for that matter. The timing is purely coincidence. We’ve had no intentions of leaving Incarnation. We consider Incarnation our spiritual home and had planned on being there for as long as God would make possible. It has been an absolute joy getting to know and call this congregation family! Bethany and I have agreed to give Fr. Jacek an answer as to whether we will stay at Incarnation before August 1st. We have a lot to consider. We would appreciate your prayers! God bless all of you, Kevin & Bethany Paig

This is insane! Incarnation will lose many parishioners. Why?? Kevin and Bethany are the reason many people come to worship there. People worship through their beautiful music!
