The music and leadership that Bethany and Kevin bring to the community is second to none. Not only does it add a unique quality to the church but encourages all members to join in the musical jubilance. Services are definitely enhanced by the talent they bring!

I learned after all the kerfuffle about moving the statues TWICE that if there are side altars, then Mary and Joseph are supposed to be there, as it gives them more prominence. Father Parham had it done right. Father Ernie moved them to have them by Jesus. But a simple explanation given to the congregation would alleviate all the head-shaking. Just communicate with us; it’s all we ask!

I missed the upbeat music from Fr. Ernie’s time. I don’t care for traditional hymns.

Please find a way to keep Kevin & Bethany and their uplifting music at our Masses. Is there not a parish council that oversees these decisions?

Kevin and Bethany are a full asset to our church community. When they began as the musical element of our Masses, attendance doubled maybe even close to tripled. I think that attendance and contributions decreased from blind direction of the last Bishop. I believe if you appealed to the congregation to assist in a plan to keep Kevin and Bethany you will see that they will come through.

I have never seen a priest tell lies just to try to make his situation sound and look better. I know for a fact that Fr. Ernie left 1.2 million in the checking account when he left for St. ANN. I think anyone would love to walk into a situation with 1.2 million in the bank. Jacek’s problem is that it takes $32,000 a week to run the operations of the school and church. The problem is that he Isn’t getting nearly that so he is constantly short. Another serious problem is that he is spending money on things that he shouldn’t. Example: 12 k on new chairs for the altar, new irrigation system for his house with landscaping , cutting down trees in his front yard for 10k , and a new gazebo in his backyard just to name a few. It is absolutely asinine for him to blame financial issues on Father Ernie. Ohhh.... and when Fr. Ernie was at Incarnation the giving was 45,000 + a week! I wonder what the difference is???

I agree 100%! The parishioners need to unite to stop him an his attack on our parish. This is OUR parish, not his. With any luck he'll be gone soon and we'll be left to pick up the pieces and rebuild everything he's destroyed.

It’s hard to unite when you have a priest who puts a letter out in the bulletin attacking Fr. Ernie and SOS. The SOS was about 900 parishioners, so he is essentially attacking the majority of the parish. Not only is he attacking the SOS and Father Ernie, but he is telling lies about the finances of the parish. If the Bishop doesn’t replace Jacek then the School will go under and the church will continue to lose parishioners and money .

We need to UNITE, as the Church, and fight for our parish. This is not just about the music we hear at mass. This is about losing the community that has been built. This is about losing families to other parishes, or worse, losing them COMPLETELY from the faith. We can get the Liturgy of the Word and Eucharist at any Catholic church. We can get music and homilies at any church. We we are fighting for is our community! My children have been baptized, received first Communion, Confirmation and been married at Incarnation. Our family has participated in the PRE program, youth group, scouts, scripture study, fish frys, altar servers, Eucharist ministry and choir. Incarnation is not just our church, IT IS OUR HOME. I for one will fight to defend our home. I have been here for 22 years and plan to be here long after this this pastor is gone.
