I am very disappointed to hear that Richard is being removed from the Kentisbeare round and that the metric being used is speed! Who is the judge and jury in this matter and what consultation has there been with the customers! Richard is an integral part of village life and his knowledge attitude and demeanour in all weathers is exemplary. To judge one one metric and to not consider his considerable contribution to village life is exceptionally poor management and shows a complete disregard to the customers you are trying to serve. I hope to get this raised at the next parish council meeting and to raise awareness of this very poor decision

This postie delivers to good freinds of mine and as many rural posties, is a valuable asset to the community.

Shame on Royal Mail. You obviously have no idea about village/local communities. Richard is an excellent rep of your organisation. It's time to reconsider.

Unbelievable if Richard wants to continue his round he should be allowed too. Isn't it age discrimination otherwise?

Being to slow is far from a problem. He checks up on everyone, I see that's as a trait not a reason to get rid of him.

Why is it critical how fast the post is so long as it gets delivered accurately?
