Kensington is a fabulous pitch and putt and I'd hate to see it go. Burnaby Mountain is very close and those that want hit a longer ball can take advantage of that course.

You guys realize Executive Course does not mean a fancy course for executives... its merely a 9 hole course that is typically shorter in length per hole than a standard 9 hole course which can sometimes even mean a par 3 course... with regards to the Burnaby pitch and put, they don't have much acreage and therefore I would assume this would be just an upgrade of a currently public course to a remodelled and better equipped public course (IE better drainage, and proper infrastructure such as newer watering systems).

Lets keep this open to the locals and their families, not some executive elite.

Taking a public facility and privatizing it aids in the destruction of a community. Families need safe public positive atmosphere to nurture community, and once a sense of community is lost, neighbors become strangers, and neighbourhoods lose out. Save Kensington pitch and putt!
