This pool has meant a lot to me. I went to Gila Vista in middle school and during the hot season we would go to the pool in P.E. and we would do a lot of activities. Going to the pool in middle school was actually how I learned to swim. I want this pool to remain and I hope the community can come together to save it.

Officials are acting irresponsibly by shutting down Kennedy Pool. The pool has a long history in the lives of the Yuma community. Act now and come together on how to revive and sustain Kennedy pool!

It’s been a long while since I have seen it open, there is a nice park there and even a skate park, hockey rink and basketball courts on one side. Other side they have the baseball and soccer fields. I’d love to see this place up again

I used the pool as a child in the 1950's and 1960's. My children used used it in the 1985 to 1990's. I would like to see it up and running for my grandchildren too!!
