Pls save Kennedy Pool think about many of the children on that side of the city who don’t have access to any other pools or have the funds to go to an expensive water park children must have the right to be happy and find the joy in our community

A lot of these kids can’t afford to have their own pool. And it’s been a long ongoing tradition for many years.

As for many in this community, John F. Kennedy pool was a HUGE part of my life. It was there that I learned how to swim as a baby (my mom said I learned how to swim before I could walk

In Yuma,Az the temperature gets up to 120 degrees. I would think that it would be truly cruel of the city of Yuma not to try and gather the money needed to open the pool again.
The children here in Yuma Az go to school and always hope to find one way to cool down after school during the hot summer.
Kennedy Pool is one of the nicest pools I've been to since a child and would love to take my children as well.

I grew up going to Kennedy during summer break and my children did the same as well as took swim classes there and I would like my grandchildren to be able to enjoy and make memories there as well. There are also a lot of children that live within walking distance of the pool and enjoy meeting up with friends to stay in touch with them. Community is always saying we need more for our kids to do during the summer well if you close Kennedy pool that will be a big failure on the city’s part to keep things available for kids

Not only that pool, but there parks in Yuma in terrible condition, I have brought this subject up to the Parks& Recreation Director resently.
Save this pool and park.
